Open your www directory. If this option is not visible, please explore the WAMP options by both right and left clicking on the system tray icon, and finding and enabling this option.
I suggest you rename your joomla zip folder to simply "joomla"
Extract the folder
NOTE: This and moving the files can take a while depending on your PC performance! Please plan accordingly!
Copy the folder into your www directory, this might take a while!
Use wamp to navigate to your wampserver landing page
Click on your WAMP system tray icon
Now use the WAMP menu to navigate to phpmyadmin
Default username is root, there is no default password, so leave it blank. We will now create the necessary database for our Joomla installation.
create a new database named "joomla"
Navigate to inside the joomla folder you previously placed inside your www directory. This should automatically begin the installation process.
If you're not greeted with a simlar page, mistakes may have been made. You can use almost all of the default options, but some need to be changed.
Some aspects of this project will not allow you to continue unless you have a strong password, which is why "Georgiasouthern!" was previously recommened.
Without putting in an actual email, login recovery is unavailable. Please choose a memorable password.
The default login is "root" with no password.

Navigate to your admin panel and login

After completing the previous steps, switch to your front and and refresh the page and you should see something completely different!
